Goals

At Grovedale Primary School our students experience success through individual learning plans with an emphasis on student goal setting. This allows our students to be aware of what they are achieving and where they are going in their learning.
Our dedicated staff is committed to giving our students the learning tools they need to reach their full potential. The students with teachers set individualise learning goals in the following areas;
• Numeracy
• Reading
• Writing
• Personal Learning
Students set these goals in a variety of meaningful ways eg individual conferencing where the teacher discusses personalised learning targets and assists the student with setting a goal. Conferencing is regularly carried out to ensure that students feel connected with their learning and have the opportunity to provide evidence to prove that the students are progressing toward their learning goals.
