I extend a warm welcome to you and your family. I am very proud to be the principal of Grovedale Primary School, and it is my honour to work with our students, staff and families each day. We are a community minded school which continues to forge strong connections with local groups, organisations and individuals to  model for our students the benefit of being connected to our wider community. These relationships also provide us with alternate programs and opportunities for our students and families.

Grovedale Primary School provides a dynamic learning environment in which we collaborate, value each other and strive to be the best that we can. We have high expectations of all learners, and ensure every student has individual learning goals. Grovedale Primary School provides an inclusive environment; implementing a broad curriculum which appeals to all types of learners, and creates a culture in which every child is valued for their differences and abilities. Every student at Grovedale Primary School is supported to reach their individual potential, on our “Path to Success!”

Our curriculum is led by expert teachers, and supported by outstanding educators. We use research based teaching and learning models in Reading, Writing and Maths, resulting in excellent individual student achievement in literacy and numeracy. At Grovedale Primary School the students participate in Physical Education, Italian, Performing Arts, Music, Visual Arts, and Digitech through the specialist program. We are very fortunate to have talented staff who provide opportunities for students to explore a range of skills and abilities.

Technology is undoubtedly a cornerstone of modern society. Our students are well prepared, as we utilise technologies to complement and enhance learning opportunities for our students. We provide laptops, Chromebooks, iPads and desktop computers for access to a range of platforms and programs.

The Grovedale Primary School grounds are spacious and students have access to netball, basketball and tennis courts, an oval, running track, two playgrounds, a cricket pitch, sealed areas and numerous gardens – we provide a place for everyone.

To enrol, call us on 5243 3902. You can also click on the ‘Enrolment’ tab and download and complete the enrolment form. Submit that to the office and we will begin the process of considering your application.
